Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure the flat laces are securely tied to provide a snug yet comfortable fit. Experiment with different lacing tensions to find what works best for your foot shape and playing style.
- Break-in: As with any new football boot, a short break-in period is recommended. Wear them during light training sessions or for shorter durations initially to allow the synthetic upper to mold to your foot.
Compatibility
These boots are designed for adult male players. The Comfortplate outsole makes them highly versatile and compatible with two primary playing surfaces:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are dry and firm.
- Artificial Grass (AG): Modern synthetic turf pitches.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the performance of your boots:
- Clean After Each Use: Remove any mud, dirt, or debris from the upper and outsole using a soft brush or a damp cloth. Avoid harsh scrubbing that could damage the synthetic material.
- Air Dry: Do not put your boots in a washing machine or tumble dryer. Allow them to air dry naturally in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight or artificial heat sources, as this can cause the materials to crack or stiffen.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place. Using boot trees or stuffing them with newspaper can help maintain their shape.
- Specific Instructions: Always refer to the product label inside your boots for any specific care instructions from adidas. > Info needed: [General advice based on synthetic boots is given, but specific product label details should always take precedence.]
