Product Information

Full details

The YSL Lovenude Lip Blusher is designed for those seeking a soft, blurred lip effect with a hydrating, balm-like feel and a sophisticated matte finish. Its key benefit is achieving a "French-kissed" lip look with buildable, sheer nude color. A potential caveat is that the sheer coverage may not be suitable for those desiring intense, opaque color payoff in a single swipe.

FAQs

What is the main benefit of the YSL Lovenude Lip Blusher?

The main benefit is its ability to create a soft, blurred "French-kissed" lip effect with a hydrating, balm-like feel and a sophisticated matte finish.

How much lip care is in the formula?

The formula contains an 84% lip care base, designed to provide instant hydration and leave lips feeling supple and soft.

Can I achieve opaque color with this product?

This lip blusher is designed for sheer, buildable coverage. While you can layer it for more color, it is not intended to provide opaque, intense color payoff in a single application.

What kind of finish does it have?

It provides a sophisticated matte finish that is soft-focus and never flat.

What ingredients contribute to the lip care properties?

The formula is infused with a key level of 3% Pro-Xylane, along with black nigella sativa seed, coffee oil, and blueberry extracts for lip nourishment.

How long does the soft-focus blur effect last?

The product delivers up to 12 hours of soft-focus blur.

What is the scent of the Lovenude Lip Blusher?

It is fragranced with a blend of berries, including blackberry, blueberry, and wild cherry.

Is this product suitable for all lip tones?

Yes, YSL Lovenude offers a versatile range of flattering nude and rosy-taupe tones designed to suit every lip tone.

Troubleshooting

Product feels dry upon application

Ensure lips are prepped and moisturized. While the formula contains a care base, very dry lips may benefit from a thin layer of lip balm applied beforehand. Ensure the product is properly stored to maintain its consistency.

Color is too sheer

Apply multiple layers to build up the color intensity. The formula is designed for buildable, sheer coverage.

Product seems to fade quickly

While designed for comfortable wear, reapplication may be necessary depending on eating and drinking habits. For longer wear, consider applying to lightly powdered lips or using a lip liner underneath.

Uneven application

Ensure lips are smooth and exfoliated. Apply with a light hand, starting from the center and blending outwards. Using a lip brush can help achieve a more precise application.
