Product Information

Full details

The Sondico Blaze Football Boots are designed for young players who need reliable footwear for training and matches. Featuring a durable leather construction and an innovative knitted tongue and ankle collar, these boots provide a snug, supportive fit that enhances stability during rapid movements. While these boots offer excellent grip and ball control features, users should note that they are specifically engineered for artificial surfaces and may show increased wear if used exclusively on abrasive concrete or indoor hardwood courts.

FAQs

Are these boots suitable for natural grass?

The moulded lug configuration is optimized for artificial surfaces; they may provide insufficient traction on soft or muddy natural grass.

Can I put these in the washing machine?

No, machine washing can damage the leather upper and weaken the adhesives. Clean them by hand using a damp cloth.

What size is UK 11 in this model?

This is a children's sizing standard. Please ensure you measure the child's foot against a size guide to account for growing room.

Does the knitted collar stretch out over time?

Like any elasticated component, it may experience slight relaxing, but it is designed to retain its shape through a full season of regular use.

Are these suitable for beginners?

Yes, the supportive fit and enhanced grip make these an excellent choice for young players at any skill level.

Troubleshooting

Boots feel too tight at the ankle

Loosen the lacing system further down the eyelets to relieve tension on the knitted collar.

Accumulation of rubber pellets inside

Ensure the knitted ankle collar is pulled tight against the sock and consider wearing high-cut football socks to create a better seal.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Snug fit prevents slippage inside the boot
Excellent ball control features for junior players
Durable leather upper material
Reliable traction on artificial turf

Cons

Leather requires consistent cleaning to maintain longevity
Size UK 11 fit may be restrictive for players with very wide feet
Moulded lugs are less effective on muddy, natural grass fields

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the best performance from your Sondico Blaze boots, follow these guidelines:

Fit: Ensure the laces are adjusted to provide a firm fit without cutting off circulation to the midfoot.
Compatibility: These boots are primarily intended for artificial turf (astro turf) surfaces.
Cleaning: After play, brush off loose dirt or artificial rubber pellets with a soft-bristled brush. Wipe down the leather with a slightly damp cloth.
Storage: Always air-dry the boots at room temperature. Never store them in a closed gym bag while wet, as this will degrade the leather and promote odor buildup.
