Kair cowled vent with damper flap and 100mm round spigot. Designed for use with 100mm / 4 inch round ducting. The cowl protects against driving rain and gusts of wind entering your property via the duct run. The damper flap can be closed to help reduce unpleasant odors, noises, or draughts flowing back through your duct. It features a 4 inch / 100mm round male spigot on the back of the grille that fits inside most comparable size pipes/hoses. The design is wipe-clean and durable for both indoor and outdoor use, and is suitable for use in compliance with Part F Building Regulations. Airflow performance is independently tested. Built from high-quality Polystyrene/Polypropylene plastic material. Max / Min Temperature: +60c / -15c. Easy to install with a push-fit system for ducts and fittings. For permanent fixings, seal joints with silicone sealant or tape. Perfectly suited for ducting bathroom or kitchen extractor fans, hydroponics, in-line extract fans, tumble dryers, cooker hoods, and passive vents. Kair 100mm / 4 inch (SYS-100) plastic rigid ducting is recommended for superior airflow performance and durability. Note: The cowl may arrive with slightly bent sides, which facilitates easy initial removal for wall mounting. Once secured, the cowl can be fitted and the sides pushed to engage the click-fit mechanism with the back plate.
