No, this fleece is designed for warmth and insulation, not as a waterproof shell. It is best used as a midlayer under a waterproof jacket.
Air drying is recommended to maintain the integrity of the fabric and prevent unnecessary wear.
Anti-pill refers to a fabric treatment that prevents small, unsightly balls of fiber (pills) from forming on the surface of the fleece.
This specific model features a zip-neck design for ventilation but typically does not include integrated pockets.
The Sweethart fleece features a regular fit. If you plan to layer it over thick sweaters, you may want to stick to your standard size, but for a tighter, more athletic fit, some users prefer to size down.
Avoid fabric softeners and ensure the garment is thoroughly rinsed during the wash cycle.
While the fleece is anti-pill, using a dedicated fabric shaver can gently remove any minor surface surface fuzz if it occurs over time.
To keep your fleece in peak condition, machine wash it on a cool, gentle cycle. Avoid using heavy fabric softeners as they can degrade the technical properties of the fleece fibers. For the best longevity, air dry the garment rather than using a high-heat tumble dryer, as extreme heat can damage the fabric structure. The fleece is compatible with most standard waterproof shells and jackets due to its low-profile design.
