No, this fleece is designed for warmth and breathability as a midlayer. It is not waterproof and should be paired with a shell jacket in wet conditions.
Yes, the half-zip feature allows for excellent ventilation, making it suitable for active pursuits like trekking or brisk walking.
This model uses a standard regular fit. If you plan to layer it over thick sweaters, you may want to consider your standard sizing or sizing up if you prefer a looser fit.
The anti-pill side prevents the small, unsightly balls of fabric that often form on fleeces due to friction, ensuring the garment looks newer for longer.
Yes, it is machine washable. We recommend a gentle cycle with cool water and avoiding fabric softeners to protect the fleece material.
While the fabric is anti-pill, heavy friction can still cause minimal issues. Use a fabric shaver gently to remove surface pills and restore a smooth finish.
Check if you have used fabric softener, which can coat the fibers and flatten the loft. Wash the garment without softener to restore the material's loft and thermal effectiveness.
This garment does not require any complex setup; simply ensure the size aligns with your typical clothing needs (UK size 12). To maintain the performance of the Symmetry fleece, machine wash it in cool water on a gentle cycle. Avoid using fabric softeners, as they can degrade the moisture-wicking and insulation properties of the synthetic fibers. Air drying is highly recommended to preserve the anti-pill integrity of the outer layer. If you must use a dryer, choose the lowest heat setting. Store the fleece hanging or folded in a dry, well-ventilated space to prevent moisture buildup.
