Setup
Setting up your LG Sound Bar is designed to be straightforward and clutter-free:
- Placement: Position the main sound bar beneath your TV. Place the wireless subwoofer and wireless rear speakers in their desired locations, ensuring they are within range of power outlets.
- Power Connection: Plug the main sound bar, the wireless subwoofer, and one of the wireless rear speakers into power outlets. The wireless rear speakers connect to each other with a single speaker cable.
- TV Connection: Connect the sound bar to your TV using either an HDMI cable (preferably to your TV's HDMI ARC/eARC port for best compatibility and control) or an Optical cable.
- Pairing: The wireless subwoofer and rear speakers will automatically pair with the main sound bar once powered on. If manual pairing is needed, refer to the included user manual for specific steps.
Compatibility
- TVs: The sound bar is compatible with any TV via HDMI or Optical input. For enhanced features and seamless control via the WOW Interface, pair it with compatible LG TVs.
- Devices: Supports Bluetooth connectivity for wireless audio streaming from smartphones, tablets, and other Bluetooth-enabled devices.
Care
To maintain your LG Sound Bar's performance and appearance:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the surfaces of the sound bar, subwoofer, and rear speakers with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For stubborn smudges, a slightly damp cloth can be used, ensuring no moisture enters any openings. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ventilation: Ensure all vents on the sound bar and subwoofer are clear of obstructions to prevent overheating.
- Placement: Avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight, near heat sources, or in areas with high humidity. Keep magnets and other sources of magnetic interference away from the speakers.
