FAQs

Are these sandals waterproof?

Yes, the materials are specifically chosen for their quick-drying, water-ready properties.

Can I wear these for long-distance hiking?

Absolutely. The nylon shank and molded PU midsole provide the stability and support needed for extended walking and light hiking.

How do I clean my Teva sandals?

Use a soft brush and mild soap to scrub the straps and footbed, then rinse thoroughly with water and let them air dry.

Is the sizing true to fit?

Generally, these run true to standard UK adult sizing. Use the provided straps to customize the volume and security of the fit.

Can these be used in saltwater?

Yes, but be sure to rinse them thoroughly with fresh water afterward to prevent salt buildup on the straps and hardware.

Troubleshooting

Straps feel scratchy against the skin

Adjust the tension of the straps. If irritation persists, check for trapped sand or grit and rinse the webbing under clean water.

Foot slipping inside the sandal when wet

Tighten the ankle strap to secure the foot firmly against the molded footbed.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Excellent traction on both wet and dry terrain
Fast-drying material ideal for water activities
Highly adjustable fit via multiple strap points
Strong arch support for long-distance comfort
Lightweight construction prevents heavy-footedness

Cons

Rugged design may not fit all casual styles
Open-toe design leaves feet exposed to debris
Requires break-in time for some users

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the best fit, adjust the hook-and-loop straps starting from the forefoot and working toward the ankle to achieve a snug but comfortable tension. The Terra Fi 5 is intended for adult sizing; ensure you choose your standard UK size for the best results. To care for your sandals, rinse them with fresh water after exposure to saltwater or mud to maintain the grippy texture of the outsole. Air dry them in a shaded area away from direct heat sources, as extreme heat can cause the adhesive and synthetic materials to degrade prematurely.
