While the leather offers some protection against light moisture, these boots are not explicitly labeled as waterproof. It is recommended to apply a water-repellent spray for extra protection.
You can spot clean the interior fabric with a mild soap and water solution using a soft brush or cloth, then allow them to air dry away from direct heat.
Yes, the OrthoLite insoles are removable, allowing you to swap them for custom orthotics if required.
The Chelsea boot design is generally accommodating, but those with wider feet may find the entry point snug initially.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Using shoe trees will help the boots maintain their shape when not in use.
Wear the boots indoors for short periods with thick socks to gently stretch and break in the leather.
Ensure you are pulling from the rear tab while pushing your heel down firmly; the elastic side panels will loosen slightly with repeated use.
Use a leather cleaner or a matching shade of shoe cream to buff out surface marks.
Because these are pull-on Chelsea boots, no break-in period is generally required, though the leather may soften further with regular wear. For the best fit, ensure you are wearing medium-weight socks. To maintain the quality of the premium leather, wipe the boots down with a soft, damp cloth after exposure to salt or mud. Use a reputable leather conditioner periodically to keep the material supple and prevent cracking. Avoid submerging the boots in water, as this can affect the leather finish and glue bonds over time.
