This North Face Nuptse Short Jacket in black is designed for adult females seeking a stylish and warm outerwear option. Its key benefit is the combination of recycled down insulation for comfort and a relaxed, cropped fit for modern appeal. A potential consideration is its cropped length, which may require layering for colder weather. Key features include a durable nylon exterior, secure zip closure, practical flap pockets, adjustable cuffs, and a drawstring hem for a customized fit.

The nylon exterior offers some water resistance, but this jacket is primarily designed for warmth in cool, dry conditions. For heavy snow or rain, consider layering with a waterproof outer shell.
Nuptse is a mountain peak in the Himalayas, renowned for its challenging climbing routes. The jacket's design is inspired by The North Face's heritage in mountaineering.
A cropped fit jacket is shorter in length, typically ending around the waist or slightly above. This offers a more modern and relaxed silhouette compared to traditional, longer jackets.
For moderate cold, it provides good warmth. For very cold temperatures or extreme conditions, it's recommended to layer this jacket over a warm base layer and potentially under a more robust outer layer.
Proper washing and drying are key. Always tumble dry with tennis balls on low heat to help re-distribute and re-fluff the down after washing.
The North Face typically offers a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. Please refer to The North Face's official website for the most current warranty details.
Ensure the jacket is completely dry. Run it through a low-heat tumble dry cycle with tennis balls to help break up clumps and restore down loft.
Check for any fabric caught in the zipper teeth. Gently try to free the fabric. Lubricate the zipper track with a graphite pencil or a specialized zipper lubricant.
This is normal for down products to a small extent. If excessive, gently pull the feather back through the fabric from the inside or trim any protruding feather with scissors.

This jacket requires no setup; it is ready to wear upon purchase.
