Setup
- Lacing: Ensure boots are laced firmly but comfortably, avoiding overtightening that could restrict circulation.
- Break-in: As these boots feature a synthetic upper, a short break-in period may be beneficial. Wear them for light training sessions or walks before competitive play to allow them to conform to your foot.
- Ortholite® Footbed: The Ortholite® footbed provides immediate comfort; ensure it's properly seated within the boot.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for soft or damp natural turf. Their sole configuration is optimized for these conditions, providing maximum grip and stability. Using them on hard ground, artificial pitches, or very dry natural grass may lead to suboptimal performance and accelerated wear of the studs and sole.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, remove excess mud and debris using a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources (e.g., radiators, direct sunlight) as this can damage the synthetic materials and leather. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consider using boot bags to protect them during transport.
- Stud Maintenance: Regularly check the studs for wear and tear. Replace any worn or damaged studs to maintain optimal grip and prevent injury.
