The Rains Storm Breaker is a versatile, unisex raincoat designed for adults who need reliable protection against the elements without sacrificing an elevated, sporty aesthetic. Yes, it features Rains' signature waterproof fabric and double-welded seams to withstand significant rain.
Wipe with a damp cloth or hand wash in cold water. Do not tumble dry or iron.
The Storm Breaker is a shell jacket; it is not insulated and should be layered with warmer clothing for winter use.
The drawstring at the hem allows you to tighten the fit to trap body heat or change the silhouette of the jacket.
The front pockets are double-welded and feature closures, providing significant weather protection for your belongings.
The outer shell may need a light wash to remove dirt/oils or may require a specialized DWR (Durable Water Repellent) spray treatment.
Ensure the track is free of debris and consider using a silicone-based zipper lubricant.
Because the Storm Breaker is a shell jacket, it is highly compatible with layered clothing. To maintain the waterproof properties of the polyester fabric, avoid using standard laundry detergents that contain bleach or fabric softeners. If the jacket becomes dirty, spot clean the exterior with a damp cloth or hand wash in cold water. Always air dry the garment in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, as high heat can damage the welded seams and waterproof coating.
