Tower 50L Rectangular Sensor Bin - White

Info needed: Please refer to the product manual for the exact battery type and quantity required for your Tower Sensor Bin. Typically, these bins use AA or C batteries.

Yes, the bin features a manual power switch. When the switch is in the 'OFF' position, you can open and close the lid manually, similar to a traditional bin, without the need for batteries.

Info needed: The effective range of the infrared motion sensor can vary, but it typically detects movement within 10-20 cm above the lid. Avoid placing the bin directly under bright lights or near heat sources as this can affect sensor performance.

The Tower 50L Rectangular Sensor Bin is designed for standard 50-litre bin liners. Using liners specifically designed for rectangular bins can provide a better fit and prevent slippage.

No, the Tower Sensor Bin is designed for indoor use only. Exposure to outdoor elements like rain or extreme temperatures can damage the electronic components and the bin's finish.

Info needed: The lid typically stays open for approximately 5-7 seconds after motion is detected. If it detects continued presence, it may stay open longer before soft-closing.

Check if the manual power switch is in the 'ON' position. Replace the batteries if they are low or depleted. Ensure the sensor area on the lid is clean and unobstructed. Try moving the bin to a location with consistent lighting.

Check for any obstructions around the lid or hinge mechanism. Ensure the bin liner is not impeding the lid's movement. If batteries are low, replace them, as weak power can affect the soft-closing function.

Empty the bin regularly. Clean both the interior and exterior thoroughly with a mild disinfectant. Consider using odor-absorbing products or placing a deodorizer inside the bin. Ensure bin liners are free from holes.

Ensure the bin is placed on a flat, even surface. Check if the inner compartment is correctly seated within the outer body. Avoid overfilling the bin, as uneven weight distribution can cause instability.
