The ASICS Gel-1130 trainers are designed for adult males seeking a blend of retro style and modern comfort. Their key benefit is exceptional shock absorption provided by GEL™ technology, suitable for everyday wear and light activity. A potential caveat is that while inspired by running shoes, they are best suited for casual use rather than intense athletic training. These trainers feature synthetic leather overlays, a durable construction, and a distinctive White and Clay Canyon colorway.

The ASICS Gel-1130 trainers are designed primarily for casual wear and offer good cushioning for everyday comfort. While they can handle light jogging, they are not engineered with the advanced stability and support features required for serious running or high-impact athletic activities.
The GEL™ technology in the midsole provides exceptional shock absorption. This helps to reduce impact on your feet and joints, offering a more comfortable experience, especially during prolonged wear.
Clean the trainers using a damp cloth or a soft brush to remove dirt. Avoid using harsh chemicals or machine washing. Allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat.
The retro aesthetic refers to the design being inspired by older styles, specifically drawing from the ASICS GEL-1000 series. This gives the trainers a classic, vintage look.
The overlays on the ASICS Gel-1130 trainers are made of synthetic leather, which provides structure, support, and enhanced durability to the shoe's upper.
While the synthetic leather offers some protection, these trainers are not waterproof. It is advisable to avoid wearing them in heavy rain or wet conditions to prevent damage and maintain comfort.
Refer to the ASICS sizing chart available online or in-store to find your correct UK size. It's also recommended to try them on if possible, as fit can vary slightly between models.
Ensure you have selected the correct UK size. Refer to ASICS sizing charts if unsure. For immediate wear, consider using thicker socks for a snugger fit or thinner socks if they feel too tight.
New shoes often require a break-in period. Wear them for short periods initially and gradually increase wear time. If discomfort persists, check for any rubbing points and consider if the size or width is appropriate.
Squeaking can sometimes occur due to moisture or friction within the shoe. Ensure the insoles are properly seated and dry. A light dusting of talcum powder inside the shoe, under the insole, can sometimes help.
Synthetic leather can be susceptible to scuffs. Use a specialized leather cleaner or a damp cloth to gently remove marks. Consider applying a protective spray designed for synthetic materials, following product instructions.
Setup: These trainers require no assembly. They are ready to wear straight out of the box. Ensure you have selected the correct size for optimal comfort and fit.
Compatibility: The ASICS Gel-1130 are designed for casual wear and light activities. They are compatible with a wide range of casual clothing.
