The Asics Contend 10 is designed for neutral runners seeking a reliable, everyday road shoe that balances cushioning with structural support. Ideal for casual joggers and those engaging in daily exercise, this trainer excels at providing impact protection on hard surfaces; however, it is primarily optimized for road running and may not provide the high-tech energy return found in elite-level racing shoes.

The Contend 10 is designed as a neutral shoe. While it provides good support, those with severe overpronation may prefer a model with specific stability features.
Yes, their stable platform makes them suitable for general gym activities, such as weight training and treadmill work.
Generally, running shoes should be replaced every 300 to 500 miles, depending on your running style and the surfaces you frequent.
It is recommended to clean them by hand with mild soap and a brush. Machine washing can damage the adhesive and structural integrity of the shoe.
The Asics Contend 10 generally fits true to size for a standard athletic fit; however, if you wear thick running socks, some users prefer sizing up by a half size.
Adjust the lacing tension, specifically using the top eyelet to secure the heel, which can alleviate pressure on the midfoot.
Ensure the outsoles are free of debris or caked-on mud; wipe the rubber down with a damp cloth to restore initial grip.
To ensure the longevity of your Asics Contend 10 trainers, it is recommended to allow the shoes to air dry naturally after runs in wet conditions. Avoid placing them near direct heat sources like radiators, as this can degrade the cushioning materials.
Compatibility: These trainers are designed for runners with a neutral gait. If you use custom orthotics, the internal sockliner is typically removable to accommodate your inserts. For best results, rotate your shoes with another pair to allow the foam to fully decompress between runs.
