The Chill House Ltd Live Edge Floating Shelf is an ideal choice for homeowners seeking to add rustic character and functional storage to their living spaces. Crafted from sustainably sourced European pine, it offers a robust platform for decor, books, or essentials. While its handcrafted, live-edge nature provides a unique aesthetic with natural variations, potential buyers should note that because each piece is individually crafted, exact dimensions and wood characteristics like knots and cracks will vary between units.

Yes, Chill House offers custom sizes upon request to better fit your specific wall space.
Due to the live edge nature of the wood, dimensions may vary slightly from the stated size.
The shelves are crafted from sustainably sourced European pine.
The included fixings are intended for solid walls; specialized hardware is required for hollow or plasterboard walls.
The shelf is designed to support a maximum load of 20kg when properly installed on a suitable surface.
The shelf features a wax finish that provides protection, but it should not be exposed to direct water or excessive moisture.
Ensure the wall fixings are tightened securely and the shelf is pushed firmly against the wall bracket.
These are natural characteristics of the live edge timber and are considered part of the shelf's rustic aesthetic.
The included fixings are designed for solid walls. For plasterboard or stud walls, you must purchase specialized hollow-wall anchors appropriate for your wall type.
Installation is straightforward as the shelf comes with pre-drilled holes and the necessary fixings for solid wall surfaces.
For care, wipe the shelf with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. If the wood begins to look dry or dull over time, a high-quality furniture wax can be reapplied to maintain the protective seal and grain definition. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive sponges that could strip the wax finish.
