FAQs

Are these shoes machine washable?

No, it is recommended to spot clean them by hand to preserve the integrity of the mesh and the reflective overlays.

Can I use these for running marathons?

These trainers are designed for casual daily wear and walking rather than high-performance distance running.

What does the reflective detailing do?

The reflective heel detailing is designed to reflect light back to the source, making the wearer more visible to others in low-light environments.

Do the Saucony Grid Legacy trainers run true to size?

Yes, they are designed to fit standard adult UK sizing, but it is always best to try them on to ensure a comfortable fit for your specific foot shape.

Are these shoes suitable for wet weather?

While the rubber outsole provides good traction, the breathable mesh upper is not waterproof and may allow water to seep in during heavy rain.

Troubleshooting

Shoes feel tight after long periods of walking

Feet naturally swell during the day; ensure you are wearing appropriate socks and consider loosening the lacing system for a more relaxed fit.

Visible scuffs on the white mesh

Use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove surface debris. A specialized sneaker cleaner can be applied to stubborn spots, but avoid harsh chemicals that may yellow the material.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Excellent ventilation for all-day comfort
Lightweight build prevents heavy foot feel
Includes safety-conscious reflective elements
Reinforced toe cap extends the life of the shoe

Cons

Not intended for technical sports or rugged terrain
Light white color may show dirt quickly
Limited to lifestyle usage rather than professional running

Setup, Compatibility & Care

These trainers fit standard sizing; however, ensure you verify your UK foot size before purchase. To maintain the aesthetic and functional quality of the Grid Legacy trainers, avoid machine washing. Instead, spot clean the mesh upper with a mild detergent and a soft cloth. Allow the shoes to air dry away from direct heat sources to prevent damage to the adhesive and synthetic materials. For optimal hygiene, you may remove the insoles periodically to air them out.
