This combines the benefits of the very latest water-based technology with the best attributes of solvent-based coatings. The new formulation gives a long-lasting, all-weather, micro-porous, protective, satin finish. Ideal for garden furniture and exterior woodwork on both rough sawn and planed timber, it ensures most tasks can be completed in one day. Please note: Only available in ready-mixed colours; burnt walnut, ebony, jacobean oak, russet, rustic oak, forest green and white. Ensure all timber to be treated is sound, clean, dry and free from dust, grease, polish or any other surface contaminant. Treat any mould or lichen with a fungicidal wash as directed. Sand smooth natural planed wood and wipe clean with White Spirit to remove any natural oils or resins and allow to dry. Avoid inhalation of dust; wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960 paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead.
