Product Information
Full details
The Nike Vomero 18 is a high-performance trainer designed specifically for active children who need reliable support during play and daily activities. Its core benefit is the responsive ReactX foam midsole, which provides exceptional energy return to make running and movement feel more effortless and comfortable. While these shoes are built for durability and everyday use, parents should note that the mesh upper is optimized for breathability rather than heavy-duty water resistance, meaning they are best suited for dry or mild weather conditions.

FAQs
Are the Nike Vomero 18 trainers machine washable?
No, machine washing can damage the foam and adhesive materials. It is recommended to spot clean them by hand.
Does the ReactX foam lose its bounce over time?
ReactX foam is designed for durability and high energy return, but like all athletic shoes, performance will eventually diminish with heavy, long-term wear.
Can these be used for rainy weather?
The engineered mesh is designed for breathability, not water resistance. They may get wet inside if worn in heavy rain.
How do I know if the size is correct?
There should be approximately a thumb's width of space between the end of the longest toe and the front of the shoe to allow for natural foot growth.
Are these shoes suitable for wide feet?
The Vomero 18 has a standard athletic fit, but the materials are flexible enough to accommodate various foot shapes comfortably.
Troubleshooting
Laces coming undone during activity
Use a double knot or ensure the laces are tightened evenly from the bottom eyelets upward.
Outsole collecting small debris
Use a blunt tool or pressurized water spray to gently dislodge gravel from between the rubber outsole pods.
Mesh upper looking dusty or discoloured
Regularly wipe the mesh with a soft, slightly damp microfiber cloth to prevent deep dust buildup.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Vomero 18 trainers last as long as possible, it is important to follow proper maintenance steps. For the initial setup, ensure the laces are adjusted to allow for a snug but not restrictive fit across the midfoot. These shoes are standard trainers and fit true to size for most children.
Care instructions:
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry mud or surface dirt from the mesh and sole.
- Stains: Gently spot clean with a damp cloth and mild, non-abrasive soap. Do not submerge the shoes completely.
- Drying: Air dry at room temperature away from direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, which can warp the foam.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place when not in use to maintain the integrity of the foam cushioning.
