Setup
- Loosen the laces sufficiently before putting on the boots.
- Slide your foot into the boot, ensuring your heel is seated comfortably at the back.
- Begin lacing from the bottom, pulling firmly but not excessively tight, ensuring an even tension across the foot. Double-knot for security during play.
- It's advisable to wear the boots for short periods during practice sessions to break them in before a full match.
Compatibility
These boots feature a Firm Ground (FG) soleplate, specifically designed for use on:
- Natural grass pitches that are dry or slightly damp.
- Well-maintained, firm natural turf.
Important: Avoid using FG boots on artificial grass (AG), soft ground (SG), or hard court surfaces, as this can damage the soleplate, reduce performance, and may void any warranty.
Care
- Cleaning After Use: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud using a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources (e.g., radiators, direct sunlight) as this can damage the materials and cause cracking. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. A boot bag can protect them from dust and scratches.
- Insole Care: Remove insoles periodically for airing and cleaning to prevent odor buildup. If removable, they can often be hand washed.
- Avoid Washing Machine: Never put your football boots in a washing machine, as this can severely damage the materials and construction.
