Setup, Compatibility & Care
Breaking In Your Boots
New boots often require a short break-in period to adapt to your foot's unique shape. We recommend wearing them during lighter training sessions initially. Start with short durations (e.g., 30 minutes) and gradually increase the wear time. The flexible upper will conform to your foot, enhancing comfort and fit.
Compatibility
These boots feature an FG/AG (Firm Ground/Artificial Grass) soleplate. This design provides optimal traction and durability on:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are dry or slightly damp.
- Artificial Grass (AG): Modern synthetic turf fields.
Do not use these boots on:
- Soft Ground (SG): Muddy or very wet natural grass pitches, as the stud pattern is not designed for deep penetration.
- Indoor Courts (IC) or Turf (TF): Harder surfaces will damage the soleplate and offer poor grip.
Care Instructions
Proper care extends the lifespan of your boots and maintains their performance:
- Cleaning After Use: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud by gently tapping the boots together. Use a soft brush (a toothbrush works well for studs) to remove stubborn debris.
- Wiping Down: Use a damp cloth with mild soap (if necessary) to wipe down the upper. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or hairdryers, as this can damage materials.
- Odor Control: Remove insoles to air them out separately. You can use shoe deodorizers or natural remedies like baking soda in socks to absorb moisture and odors.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Consider using a boot bag for protection during transport.
