Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Foot Entry: The re-engineered design makes these boots easier to get on and off. Slide your foot in, ensuring your heel sits snugly against the improved Achilles padding.
- Lacing: Utilize the reengineered lacing system. Start from the bottom eyelets and tighten progressively upwards. The strategically placed eyestays are designed for an adaptive fit, so adjust the laces to achieve a snug, comfortable lockdown around your midfoot without being overly restrictive.
- Check Fit: Your toes should have a small amount of space, but your heel and midfoot should feel secure due to the FitKnit upper and silicone grip elements.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed as Firm Ground (FG) football boots. They are optimized for use on natural grass pitches that are firm and dry. Using them on artificial turf (AG) or soft ground (SG) may compromise performance, durability, and potentially lead to injury.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt with a soft brush. Wipe the upper with a damp cloth and mild soap (if necessary). Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the FitKnit or PSC texturing.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or hairdryers, as this can cause materials to shrink, crack, or warp.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consider using boot trees or stuffing them with newspaper to help maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
- Inspection: Regularly check studs for wear and tear, and the upper for any signs of damage. Proper care extends the life and performance of your boots.
