Setup, Compatibility & Care
When you first receive your Birkenstocks, ensure the straps are adjusted to your comfort level; they should be snug but not restrictive. To keep them in top condition, avoid getting the suede wet, as moisture can damage the fibers and alter the shape of the footbed. Use a specialized suede brush to remove loose dirt regularly. If the footbed becomes dirty, you can wipe it gently with a lightly dampened cloth. Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources to prevent the cork from drying out or cracking.
