Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Putting on the Roamer Craft shoes is straightforward:
- Open Riptape Straps: Fully open both riptape straps on the shoe.
- Position Foot: Gently slide your child's foot into the shoe, ensuring their toes are comfortably at the front without curling.
- Adjust Straps: Press down firmly on the riptape straps, starting with the one closer to the toes, then the ankle strap, to achieve a snug but not overly tight fit. Ensure there's enough room for natural foot movement without the foot slipping out.
Compatibility

Care
To ensure the longevity and appearance of your Clarks Roamer Craft leather shoes:
- Cleaning: For general cleaning, wipe the leather upper with a soft, damp cloth. For tougher dirt, use a specialized leather cleaner according to its instructions. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Drying: If the shoes get wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources (like radiators or direct sunlight) to prevent the leather from cracking or hardening.
- Conditioning: Periodically, apply a suitable leather conditioner to keep the leather supple and prevent it from drying out. Follow the conditioner product's instructions.
- Storage: Store shoes in a cool, dry place. Using shoe trees or stuffing with paper can help maintain their shape.
- Sock Lining: The chrome-free leather sock lining is naturally breathable. For hygiene, it's recommended to wear socks with the shoes.
- Sole: The rubber sole can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
