Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Open Fasteners: Fully open any hook-and-loop straps or laces to allow maximum room for the foot.
- Position Foot: Gently slide your child's foot into the shoe, ensuring the heel is seated comfortably at the back.
- Check Fit: Press down on the front of the shoe to feel for your child's longest toe. There should be about a thumb's width of space between the toe and the end of the shoe for growth.
- Secure Fasteners: Fasten the straps or laces snugly but not too tightly, allowing for comfortable movement without slipping.
Compatibility
- Age Group: Ideal for infants and toddlers who are just beginning to stand, cruise, or take their very first independent steps.
- Foot Type: Designed for developing feet, providing flexibility and minimal interference with natural foot growth.
Care
Maintaining your Clarks Roamer Craft shoes will ensure their longevity and comfort.
- Regular Cleaning: Wipe shoes with a damp cloth to remove dirt and dust. For more stubborn marks, use a cleaner specifically designed for premium leather.
- Drying: Allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, which can dry out and crack the leather.
- Conditioning: Periodically apply a leather conditioner to keep the leather soft, supple, and to prevent cracking.
- Avoid Submerging: Do not submerge the shoes in water, as this can damage the leather and the shoe's structure.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.
