Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
- Donning: Lay the wetsuit flat. Step into the leg openings one at a time, carefully pulling the material up towards your waist. Avoid using fingernails, which can puncture the rubber. Once the legs are in place, pull the torso section up, ensuring it is smooth and free of wrinkles. Finally, insert your arms into the sleeves and pull them up to your shoulders. Secure the back zip by pulling the cord upwards.
- Fit Check: Ensure the wetsuit fits snugly without restricting breathing. The collar should sit comfortably around your neck, and the cuffs and ankles should be snug to minimize flushing.
Compatibility:
This wetsuit is designed for water sports such as surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, and kitesurfing. It is compatible with standard wetsuit accessories like boots, gloves, and hoods for added warmth in colder conditions.
Care:
- Rinse Immediately: After each use, rinse the wetsuit thoroughly with fresh, cool water, both inside and out. This removes salt, sand, and chlorine, which can degrade the material.
- Washing: Occasionally, wash the wetsuit in a basin of cool, fresh water with a mild, wetsuit-specific shampoo. Do not use harsh detergents or bleach.
- Drying: Hang the wetsuit to dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight. Avoid hanging it by the shoulders or in a way that stretches the rubber. Drying inside out first, then outside, can help.
- Storage: Store the wetsuit loosely folded or ideally hanging on a wide, padded hanger. Avoid prolonged exposure to heat or pressure points, which can cause permanent creases or damage.
