The ASICS Patriot GS Trainers are designed for active kids and young runners who need a reliable, everyday shoe for school sports and casual running. These trainers offer essential support for developing feet and durable construction for consistent training sessions, though they are specifically optimized for neutral road running rather than competitive track racing or trail terrain.

The Patriot GS line is designed with a standard fit; users with significantly wide feet may find them snug.
It is recommended to hand wash these shoes with mild soap and water. Machine washing can compromise the adhesive and material structure.
No, these are strictly designed for road or pavement running and lack the deep lugs necessary for traction on trail surfaces.
These are part of the GS (Grade School) series, typically suitable for elementary and middle school children.
The shoe is built for neutral runners and offers standard support suitable for developing feet.
Typically, youth running shoes should be replaced every 300 to 500 miles or if the child outgrows the fit.
Ensure the laces are not over-tightened and check if the feet have swollen due to exercise, or consider if the child has outgrown the size.
Check the running surface; avoid dragging feet on abrasive gravel or rough tracks to extend the lifespan of the rubber outsole.
Ensure the trainers are sized correctly to allow for natural toe splay. When sizing up, verify there is approximately a thumb-width of space at the front of the shoe. To care for these trainers, remove dirt and debris with a soft-bristled brush after use. If they become wet, air dry them naturally at room temperature, avoiding direct heat sources like radiators, which can damage the materials or cause the foam to lose its structural integrity.
