FAQs
Are these boots suitable for natural grass?
No, these are TF (Turf) boots designed specifically for artificial turf and will not provide adequate grip on natural grass pitches.
How do I determine my correct size?
The Copa Sense.1 TF follows standard UK sizing; however, since it is a performance-fit shoe, some players prefer a snug feel for better ball contact.
How should I clean the yellow upper?
Use a soft brush or damp cloth with mild soap to gently clean the surface. Do not use harsh chemicals or a washing machine.
What does the 'TF' in the name stand for?
TF stands for Turf, indicating the outsole configuration is designed for use on synthetic artificial grass surfaces.
Can these be used for indoor soccer?
While they are intended for turf, they can be worn on indoor courts, though they may feel stiffer than specialized indoor-court (IC) shoes.
Troubleshooting
Boots feel too tight initially
The upper is designed to mold to your foot; wear them for light training sessions to gradually break them in.
Accumulation of turf pellets in the boot
Ensure the collar is pulled tight and consider wearing turf-specific performance socks to minimize debris entry.
Slippage on the pitch
Check the outsole for compacted dirt or excessive turf pellets and clear them out with a soft brush.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Excellent ball control and touch
- Highly durable construction for turf surfaces
- High-visibility yellow colorway
- Stable and supportive fit for agile players
Cons
- Requires break-in time for maximum comfort
- Turf-specific sole is not suitable for firm ground pitches
- Bright color may show dirt more easily
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best fit, wear the socks you typically use for matches when trying on your boots. The Copa Sense.1 TF is strictly intended for artificial turf; using them on concrete or indoor courts may result in premature wear of the sole units. To maintain the material, wipe off excess mud or turf rubber after each use with a damp cloth. Allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature, keeping them away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can damage the synthetic materials and adhesives.
