The Salomon XT-EVO is a high-performance trainer engineered for active adults who demand both speed and stability on unpredictable terrain. Featuring an aggressive, race-ready geometry and the proprietary Agile Chassis System, these shoes offer exceptional descent control and comfort for trail runners and hikers alike. While they excel in durability and traction, potential users should note that their firm, technical structure is specifically designed for performance intensity rather than casual, all-day walking comfort.

The XT-EVO is designed for breathability and performance on mixed terrain, but it is not inherently waterproof.
While they can handle pavement, they are optimized for trail and off-road environments; you may find the aggressive lugs wear down faster on abrasive concrete.
You can remove the sockliner and hand-wash it with mild soap; air dry completely before reinserting it into the shoe.
Salomon sizing is generally consistent, but we recommend measuring your feet and comparing them to our standard size guide as the XT-EVO has a technical, snug fit.
The ACS provides a stable platform that helps control movement and absorb impact, specifically improving stability on steep or uneven descents.
Adjust the speed lace toggle while on flat ground, ensuring the tension is distributed evenly across the eyelets before fully securing it.
Use a stiff brush or a pressurized water spray to clear debris from the Mud Contagrip lugs to restore original grip performance.
To get the best performance from your XT-EVO trainers, start by adjusting the speed lacing system to a snug but comfortable tension; ensure there is no pinching across the bridge of your foot.
