The XT-Evo is designed for breathability and is not classified as waterproof.
While durable and supportive, these trainers are optimized for casual wear and light athletic activity rather than long-distance technical running.
Salomon trainers generally follow standard athletic sizing, but it is recommended to reference the UK sizing guide for the most precise fit.
Yes, the factory insoles are removable and can be swapped for aftermarket orthotics if preferred.
Use a gentle fabric cleaner and a soft-bristled brush to spot-clean the mesh without damaging the fabric fibers.
The materials may need a brief 'break-in' period to conform to your foot shape. Try wearing them for short intervals indoors first.
Use a soft brush to remove dried mud from the outsole lugs and wipe the mesh upper with a slightly damp microfiber cloth.
To ensure your Salomon XT-Evo trainers last, verify you have chosen the correct UK sizing, as Salomon fits are precision-engineered. If the shoes are dirty after outdoor use, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid fully submerging the shoes in water or using harsh detergents. Allow them to air dry away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, to preserve the structural integrity of the upper materials and adhesive bonds. If using custom orthotics, ensure the original factory insole is removed before inserting your own.
