Full details

The Saucony Triumph 24 is a premium neutral trainer designed for runners who prioritize maximum cushioning and comfort during high-mileage training or daily walks. Featuring the all-new incrediLUX foam, this shoe delivers a plush yet lightweight experience that enhances energy return; however, users who prefer a firm, minimal ground-feel may find the high stack height less suitable for speed-focused interval workouts.

FAQs

What is the heel-to-toe drop of the Triumph 24?

The Triumph 24 features a 10 mm drop, with a 43mm heel height and 33mm forefoot height.

Is this shoe suitable for flat feet?

As a neutral trainer, it provides comfortable cushioning. If you require specific arch support, you may consider replacing the stock insole with a custom orthotic.

Can I use these shoes for gym workouts?

While the Triumph 24 is excellent for walking and running, the high stack height makes them less stable for heavy lateral movements or lifting weights.

How long will the foam last?

Typical mileage for performance trainers is between 300 and 500 miles, depending on your running surface and gait.

Does the Triumph 24 run true to size?

Most users find the Triumph 24 fits true to standard adult sizing, though it is always recommended to check your measurement against the UK sizing chart provided.

Troubleshooting

Feeling pressure on the top of the foot

Try the 'window lacing' technique to relieve pressure on the midfoot area.

Outsole debris collection

Use a soft brush to remove small pebbles caught in the XT-900 tread patterns to maintain optimal grip.

Midsole feeling less responsive

Ensure the shoes are not being left in extreme heat (like a car trunk), as high temperatures can compress the cushioning foam prematurely.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Exceptionally soft and responsive cushioning
Lightweight build despite the high-cushion stack
Durable outsole construction for extended mileage
Highly breathable mesh upper
Secure and comfortable fit for daily training

Cons

High stack height might feel bulky for track speed work
Not intended for technical trail terrain
More substantial cushioning may not suit runners preferring ground contact

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the best performance from your Triumph 24, follow these maintenance tips:

Break-in: While they feel comfortable out of the box, walk in them for a few days before attempting your longest run.
Cleaning: Hand wash the shoes using lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Remove the insoles to air dry separately. Avoid using a washing machine or dryer, as heat can degrade the integrity of the incrediLUX foam.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the midsole foam from hardening or the mesh from becoming brittle.
Rotation: If you run daily, consider rotating with another pair of shoes to allow the foam 24-48 hours to fully decompress, extending the total lifespan of the cushioning.
