Full details
The Saucony Triumph 24 is a premium neutral trainer designed for runners and walkers seeking maximum cushioning for high-mileage comfort. Featuring the brand-new incrediLUX foam, this shoe provides a lightweight yet responsive ride, making it an excellent choice for long training sessions or recovery runs. While it excels in comfort and shock absorption, the high stack height may feel less stable for those preferring a ground-connected feel during speed work.

FAQs
Is the Triumph 24 a stability shoe?
No, it is a neutral trainer designed for runners who do not require extra arch support or medial posting.
What is the heel-to-toe drop of this model?
The Saucony Triumph 24 features a 10mm drop.
Can I use these for marathon training?
Yes, they are specifically engineered for high-mileage training, making them an excellent choice for marathon prep.
Does the shoe run true to size?
The Triumph 24 generally follows standard athletic footwear sizing; if you prefer extra room for foot swelling during long runs, consider a half-size up.
Are these suitable for wet conditions?
The breathable mesh is not waterproof, but the XT-900 outsole provides reliable traction on most wet pavement surfaces.
Troubleshooting
Upper mesh feeling loose during runs
Adjust the laces using the 'runner's loop' method at the top eyelet to secure the heel and midfoot.
Outer sole picking up small debris
The deep grooves of the XT-900 outsole are designed for traction; use a blunt tool to gently pry out trapped pebbles after trail use.
Pros and Cons

Cons

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Triumph 24 shoes last, follow these guidelines:
- Break-in Period: While comfortable out of the box, perform a few shorter 3-5km runs to allow the foam to adapt to your foot's natural shape.
- Cleaning: Remove surface dirt with a soft brush. Use a damp cloth with mild soap for the mesh upper. Never machine wash or dry, as this can degrade the foam and adhesive.
- Drying: Air dry only. Avoid placing near direct heat sources like radiators, which can deform the materials.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the rubber outsole and upper fabric.
