The GORE-TEX® membrane provides waterproofing, but these shoes are not specifically insulated for deep winter conditions. They are best suited for mild to cool weather where waterproofing is the primary concern.

Try them on with the type of socks you typically wear for hiking. Ensure there is enough room in the toe box for natural foot splay, and the heel should not slip excessively.

Using recycled materials reduces the environmental impact by repurposing waste materials, conserving resources, and lowering the carbon footprint associated with manufacturing new materials.

It is not recommended to machine wash these shoes, as it can damage the adhesives, GORE-TEX® membrane, and structural integrity. Hand-washing with a damp cloth and mild soap is the preferred method.

The GORE-TEX® membrane is designed for durability. With proper care and maintenance, it should provide reliable waterproofing for the expected lifespan of the footwear.

While they offer an athletic style and good traction, they are primarily designed as hiking shoes. For dedicated trail running, a shoe with more flexibility and specific running features might be preferred.

Ensure laces are properly tied to seal the ankle opening. Check for any damage to the GORE-TEX® membrane or deep saturation from prolonged submersion. Clean the shoes as per care instructions.

Clean the outsole thoroughly to remove embedded dirt or debris. Assess the outsole for significant wear; if worn down, traction may be compromised.

Ensure the correct size is being worn. Try using the removable footbed or inserting a different insole for customized fit and cushioning. Break in the shoes with shorter walks before longer hikes.
