Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup and Fit: These boots arrive ready for use, though they may feel rigid initially due to the high-quality full grain leather. Ensure you wear appropriate work socks during the first few days to aid the break-in process. The laces allow for precise adjustment to match your foot volume and provide ankle support.
Care Instructions: To maintain the longevity of the leather and the efficacy of the waterproof membrane:
- Remove heavy dirt or mud with a soft brush after each use.
- Clean the leather surface with a damp cloth; avoid harsh detergents that strip natural oils.
- Apply a leather conditioner periodically to prevent cracking, especially after exposure to wet or harsh conditions.
- Allow the boots to air dry naturally; do not place them directly against radiators or heat sources, as this will dry out and damage the leather.
- Replace the removable insole if you notice significant compression or loss of support over time.
