The UK Radiators Straight Roundhead Valve pair is an ideal choice for homeowners and installers looking to complete their heating system with a durable, non-thermostatic solution tailored for vertical pipework. These valves offer a clean, reliable way to manage water flow, providing a professional finish that complements modern interior aesthetics. While they are built for longevity and performance, users should note that as manual valves, they do not automatically regulate room temperature, requiring manual adjustments to control the heat output of the radiator.

No, these are manual, non-thermostatic valves, meaning you adjust the heat output by manually turning the handle.
These valves are specifically designed for straight pipework, typically coming from the floor. For pipes coming from the wall, you would usually require angled valves.
The 5-year guarantee covers manufacturing defects and material failures under normal usage conditions.
The set comes as a pair. However, you may need standard plumbing tools and sealing materials like PTFE tape to ensure a secure installation.
Yes, the finish is durable. Simply use a soft, damp cloth to keep it clean; avoid abrasive cleaners.
These are compatible with most standard radiators requiring straight valve connections, provided the pipe dimensions match.
Ensure the pipe joints are properly tightened and that the correct sealing tape or compound was used during installation.
Verify that the valve is turned to the fully open position and check if the system needs bleeding to remove trapped air.
Gently clean any debris from around the stem and ensure the internal mechanism hasn't been overtightened.
Installation should be carried out by a competent person or professional plumber to ensure a watertight seal. Ensure the pipework matches the straight configuration requirement before purchase. To maintain the valves, simply wipe them down with a soft, damp cloth periodically to remove dust and prevent finish degradation. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scourers, as these may damage the grey coating. Regularly check the valve connections for any signs of dampness to ensure the seals remain tight over time.
