Setup, Compatibility & Care
Proper setup and care will extend the life and maintain the performance of your adidas Predator Club Football Boots.
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure the flat laces are tied securely but not overly tight. A snug fit will enhance ball control and stability. Experiment with lacing techniques to find what is most comfortable for your foot shape.
- Initial Wear: It is recommended to break in the boots during a few short training sessions before competitive matches. This allows the synthetic upper and textile lining to mold to the foot, ensuring maximum comfort and reducing the risk of blisters.
Compatibility
- These boots are specifically designed for optimal performance on firm ground (FG) and artificial grass (AG) football pitches. The stud configuration is tailored for these surfaces to provide the best traction and stability.
- They are not recommended for use on soft ground (SG) or indoor surfaces, as the outsole may not provide adequate grip or could be damaged.
Care
- Cleaning After Use: After each use, remove excess dirt and mud by gently tapping the boots together. Use a damp cloth to wipe down the synthetic upper. For stubborn dirt, a soft brush can be used on the outsole and upper.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators, heaters, or direct sunlight, as this can cause the materials to crack or warp.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place. Using a shoe tree or stuffing them with newspaper can help maintain their shape and absorb any residual moisture.
- Specific Care Instructions: Always refer to the product label inside the boot for any specific care requirements related to the materials used.
