The Nike Metcon 10 is designed for dedicated athletes who require a hybrid training shoe that excels in both heavy lifting and high-intensity movement. By combining a rigid Hyperlift plate for ground stability with responsive ReactX foam, it offers a versatile platform for varied workouts, though its specialized construction may feel too firm for those seeking a dedicated long-distance running shoe.

They are designed for short, explosive movements and gym-based training, not long-distance running.
Yes, the sticky rubber texture on the midfoot is specifically engineered to provide grip during rope climbs.
Use a soft brush and a damp cloth with mild soap; avoid putting them in the washing machine.
No, the Metcon 10 features a wide toe box specifically designed to allow for natural toe splay.
The Hyperlift plate provides a rigid base that improves stability and weight distribution for heavy lifting.
Ensure your laces are secured tightly to lock the heel into the Hyperlift plate, which is essential for maximizing stability.
Wipe the outsole with a damp cloth and mild soap to restore the original grip texture.
Remove the inserts after training and allow the shoes to dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
To ensure your Metcon 10 trainers last, keep them away from harsh chemical cleaners that can degrade the outsole rubber. After particularly sweaty gym sessions, remove the insoles to allow the shoe to air out properly, which prevents odor buildup and moisture damage. When sizing, remember that the wider toe box is intended to fit snugly at the midfoot while allowing the forefoot to expand; ensure you are wearing your preferred athletic socks during your initial fitting to gauge proper space.
