Setup
- Lacing: Ensure laces are tight enough to provide a snug, secure fit around your foot, but not so tight as to cause discomfort. The secure lacing system helps to maximize the benefits of the Controlskin upper and Claw Collar.
- Break-in: Like most new boots, a short break-in period is recommended. Wear them during light training sessions before competitive matches to allow the synthetic upper to adapt to your foot shape.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. This includes natural grass pitches that are dry to slightly damp. Using them on Artificial Grass (AG), Soft Ground (SG), or indoor surfaces is not recommended as it can lead to premature wear of the outsole and may compromise performance and safety.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud from the boots. Wipe down the synthetic upper with a damp cloth. For stubborn mud on the soleplate, use a soft brush. Avoid harsh cleaning agents.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat sources (like radiators or direct sunlight), which can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place. Using shoe trees or crumpled newspaper can help maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
- Odor Control: If odors develop, air the boots out thoroughly after each use. Shoe deodorizers or a sprinkle of baking soda inside can also help.
