Setup
- Lacing: Simply lace up the boots, ensuring a snug but comfortable fit. Start from the bottom eyelets and work your way up, pulling each section tight. Double-knotting is recommended to prevent laces from coming undone during intense play.
- Socks: Always wear appropriate football socks for comfort and to help prevent blisters.
- Break-in: New boots often need a short break-in period. Wear them for shorter periods initially to allow them to mold to your child's feet.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) pitches. This typically means natural grass fields that are relatively dry and firm. Using them on other surfaces such as artificial grass (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor courts is not recommended, as it can compromise performance, accelerate wear, and potentially lead to injury.
Care
- Post-Match Cleaning: After each use, knock off any excess mud or dirt from the soleplate and upper.
- Wipe Down: Clean the boots with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild soap if necessary. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Drying: Allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature. Never use direct heat sources like radiators, hair dryers, or direct sunlight, as this can damage the synthetic materials and glue.
- Storage: Store the boots in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
- Lace Maintenance: Regularly check laces for fraying or wear and replace them as needed.
