The HOKA Clifton 11 is a premier daily trainer designed for runners and walkers seeking maximum comfort through a reliable, cushioned ride. Ideal for those prioritizing joint support during high-mileage training or everyday activities, this shoe offers a refined, breathable mesh upper and a secure fit; however, those who prefer a highly ground-feeling or minimalist sole may find the signature HOKA cushioning profile too bulky for high-speed track work.

Yes, the high level of cushioning and smooth rocker geometry make them an excellent choice for walking and standing for long periods.
The Clifton 11 fits true to size for most users. If you wear custom orthotics, you may consider a half-size larger than your standard casual shoe size.
Yes, the factory insole is removable, allowing you to swap it for personal orthotics if needed.
The Clifton 11 features a breathable mesh upper that is designed for airflow, not water resistance. It is not recommended for heavy rain or deep puddles.
It is generally recommended to replace running shoes every 300 to 500 miles, depending on your running surface and weight distribution.
The Clifton 11 is primarily designed as a daily trainer for road running and general fitness, focusing on comfort and impact protection.
Loosen the laces fully, manually center the tongue, and ensure the double-lace lock system is engaged before re-tightening.
Use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove dry dirt; for stains, a mild soap and cold water solution works best—do not submerge.
Feet naturally swell during activity; try loosening the lacing in the midfoot section while keeping the ankle collar secure.
To ensure the best experience, start by wearing the shoes around the house for a few hours to allow the cushioning to adapt to your foot's unique contours. When lacing up, utilize the double-lace lock system by ensuring the tongue is centered before tightening your laces to maximize the anti-migration benefits. Compatibility is broad, as this model works well with various custom orthotics if required. For care, keep the mesh clean by gently wiping away surface mud with a soft cloth and lukewarm water. Avoid machine washing or using harsh detergents, as this can degrade the specialized foam and adhesive bonds. Always air dry in a cool, shaded place, away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can cause the midsole to warp or shrink.
