Product Information
Full details
The adidas Cloudfoam Flex trainers are designed for active adults who prioritize all-day comfort and lightweight performance during casual wear and daily walking. These shoes provide a superior cushioning experience through the signature Cloudfoam midsole technology, which features specialized notches to mirror the natural anatomy of your foot. While these trainers excel in comfort and breathable styling, they are primarily engineered for casual outings rather than high-intensity athletic training or rugged off-road terrain.

FAQs
Are these shoes machine washable?
It is not recommended. Machine washing can compromise the structural integrity of the Cloudfoam and the adhesive bonding.
Can I use these for running?
These are designed as lifestyle trainers. While comfortable for walking, they lack the stability and support needed for long-distance running.
Do they provide good arch support?
The shoes feature built-in arch support designed for average foot profiles, making them comfortable for daily walking.
How do I ensure I get the right size?
These trainers generally follow standard UK sizing; it is recommended to measure your foot in the evening when it is at its largest.
Is the material waterproof?
No, the mesh upper is designed for breathability and will allow water to pass through if exposed to heavy rain.
Troubleshooting
Visible dirt on the white mesh
Gently scrub with a solution of mild detergent and warm water using a soft toothbrush, then air dry away from heat sources.
Midsole feels less bouncy over time
This is common with EVA-based foams. Ensure you alternate your footwear to allow the foam structure to recover between uses.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Exceptionally lightweight design minimizes fatigue
- Breathable upper material is perfect for warm weather
- Midsole flex notches accommodate natural foot movement
- Modern, clean white aesthetic matches versatile wardrobes
Cons
- Not suitable for high-impact sports or heavy gym use
- White mesh material requires consistent cleaning to maintain appearance
- Limited arch support compared to dedicated orthopedic footwear
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your trainers last, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Breaking In: These shoes generally fit true to size. Wear them for short durations indoors to ensure a proper break-in before longer walks.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry dirt from the mesh. For deeper stains, use a mild soap and a damp cloth; avoid submerging them in a washing machine as this can degrade the foam integrity.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the white material from yellowing.
- Compatibility: Best paired with casual wear, such as denim or athletic joggers, for a clean, sporty look.
