Troubleshooting

Varnish is not drying properly.

Ensure the room temperature is within the recommended range and that the floor is completely clean and free of contaminants. Check for any areas of the floor that may not be properly prepared.

Varnish appears patchy after drying.

Ensure an even application with the brush and avoid applying too much varnish in one area. Lightly sand the area and reapply a thin coat.

The finish is not as glossy as expected.

Make sure you have the satin version of the varnish as this provides a subtle sheen. Ensure that the product has been properly stirred before application.
