Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
These boots feature a traditional lace-up design. To ensure a secure and comfortable fit:
- Loosen the laces fully before putting the boots on.
- Slide your foot into the boot, ensuring your heel is comfortably seated.
- Begin tightening the laces from the toes upwards, pulling each section firm but not excessively tight.
- Tie the laces securely with a double knot to prevent them from coming undone during play.
Compatibility
These adidas F50 Elite boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) pitches. This means they are engineered to provide optimal performance and traction on dry, natural grass surfaces. Using them on other surfaces, such as artificial grass (AG), soft ground (SG), or very wet/muddy pitches, is not recommended as it can compromise performance, damage the studs, and potentially void any warranty.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your boots:
- After each use: Brush off any loose mud and dirt from the upper and soleplate. A soft brush or old toothbrush works well for cleaning between the studs.
- Cleaning: Wipe the synthetic upper with a damp cloth and mild soap if needed. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight, radiators, or tumble dryers, as extreme heat can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store them in a cool, dry place. Using a boot bag can help protect them from dirt and scuffs when not in use.
- Maintenance: Regularly check the studs for wear or damage. While synthetic uppers are durable, consistent cleaning helps maintain their appearance and performance.
