The Skechers Trego-Ashaway is a versatile mid-top hiking boot designed for women who prioritize all-day comfort without sacrificing durability on the trail. Ideal for light to moderate off-road hiking, these boots feature a waterproof construction and cushioned insoles that excel on uneven terrain; however, they are primarily suited for casual hikers rather than technical mountaineering expeditions.

Yes, they feature a waterproof construction intended to keep your feet dry in rain and damp conditions, though they should not be submerged in deep water.
They are perfect for day hikes and weekend adventures, but for heavy-duty multi-day backpacking with a very heavy pack, a stiffer boot may provide more support.
Skechers generally run true to standard UK sizing. If you prefer to wear thick hiking socks, some customers opt for a half-size larger for added room.
Yes, the Air-Cooled Memory Foam insoles are designed to be removable if you need to air them out or use custom orthotics.
While the boots are waterproof, applying a standard leather and mesh water-repellent spray once or twice a year can help maintain the exterior finish.
While the outsole is designed for standard trail surfaces, it is not specialized for slick, wet rock; proceed with caution and choose alternate paths.
Remove the insole and allow it to air out completely for 24 hours to restore its shape; if worn out, the insole is replaceable.
