Product Information

Full details

The HOMCOM Swivel Armchair and Footstool set is designed for individuals seeking a dedicated relaxation space, perfect for reading nooks, home offices, or living areas. Its standout benefit is the combination of a 360-degree swivel mechanism and ergonomic, thick double-layer cushioning that provides a cloud-like comfort experience. While this set offers exceptional versatility and custom leg support via the adjustable footstool, users should note that its plush, voluminous design requires adequate floor space to accommodate both pieces comfortably.

FAQs

Does the chair come fully assembled?

No, the chair requires assembly upon delivery, which typically involves connecting the base to the seat and attaching the footstool components.

Can I use the stool separately?

Yes, the footstool is a separate piece and can be moved independently, though it is designed to complement the chair's swivel functionality.

What is the weight limit for the chair?

While design specifics vary, the chair is built for standard adult use; please refer to the specific manual included with your model for exact weight capacity limits.

How do I clean the cushions?

Spot clean only using a mild detergent and a damp cloth. Avoid submerging cushions in water or using a washing machine.

Does the chair recline?

The primary movement is the 360-degree swivel; it is designed as an upright armchair for reading and relaxing rather than a dedicated recliner.

Troubleshooting

Swivel mechanism feels stiff or squeaky

Check for debris in the base rotation track and consider a light application of silicone-based lubricant if necessary.

Chair or stool feels unstable

Ensure all floor-leveling feet are adjusted properly and that the base assembly bolts are fully tightened.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Smooth 360-degree rotation on both chair and stool
  • Extra-thick padding for high levels of comfort
  • Adjustable footstool height for customized ergonomics
  • Available in multiple neutral and vibrant color options
  • Sturdy construction suitable for daily use

Cons

  • Requires significant floor space for full rotation
  • The plush cushions may not offer firm lumbar support for everyone
  • Assembly is required upon delivery

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up your armchair, ensure you have sufficient clearance from walls to allow for the full 360-degree rotation. Assembly involves connecting the swivel base to the chair seat and securing the stool components according to the included manual. For daily care, lightly vacuum the fabric surface to remove dust and debris. If a spill occurs, blot the area immediately with a clean, damp cloth—do not use harsh chemical cleaners as they may damage the fabric finish. Periodically check the swivel mechanism bolts to ensure they remain tightened for smooth, wobble-free operation.
