The New Balance FuelCell Rebel Trail is designed for adult male runners seeking a grounded, responsive experience across diverse outdoor landscapes. By combining advanced traction with a supportive construction, these trainers offer a dynamic ride that balances agility with long-lasting durability, though runners who prefer maximum cushioning may find the grounded feel firmer than traditional road shoes.

While capable of handling road transitions, the outsole is optimized for trails; extended use on concrete may wear the traction lugs down faster than usual.
They should have a snug performance fit with about a thumb's width of space at the toes to accommodate foot swelling during long runs.
No, machine washing can damage the foam and structural adhesives; always clean by hand with mild soap and water.
The materials are designed for durability and breathability, but they are not waterproof; they will get wet in heavy rain or deep puddles.
FuelCell foam is engineered to provide a high-rebound, energetic sensation that helps propel your stride forward during active use.
Ensure the laces are tensioned correctly through the midfoot eyelets, or try a 'runner's loop' lacing technique to lock the heel in place.
Consider using a low-profile trail gaiter if running in sandy or loose gravel conditions to prevent entry through the collar.
To ensure peak performance, verify your sizing against New Balance standards, as the performance fit of the Rebel Trail should be snug but not restrictive. For maintenance, remove mud or grit after every run to prevent debris from degrading the upper materials. Use a soft brush and mild soap to clean the outsole, and always air-dry your shoes away from direct heat sources, such as radiators or direct sunlight, which can warp the midsole foam and compromise the integrity of the adhesive bond.
