Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure the boots are laced securely but not overly tight. Start from the bottom eyelets and work your way up, pulling each section firm before tying a double knot to prevent loosening during play.
- Breaking In: New boots can feel stiff. Wear them for short periods during light activities or warm-ups before full-intensity play to allow the materials to adapt to your foot shape.
Compatibility
- Surfaces: These boots are specifically designed for astro turf (artificial grass) surfaces. Using them on natural grass or hard ground may compromise grip, comfort, and the durability of the outsole.
- Foot Type: The supportive synthetic leather upper and lace-up design accommodate a range of foot shapes, offering a customizable fit.
Care
Proper care extends the life and performance of your boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, especially on muddy or dusty pitches, wipe down the synthetic leather upper with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. For tougher grime, a soft brush and mild soap can be used.
- Drying: Never force-dry your boots (e.g., using a direct heat source). Remove insoles if they are wet, and stuff the boots with newspaper to absorb moisture. Allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid leaving them in damp gym bags for extended periods to prevent odor and mildew.
- Insole Maintenance: Periodically remove and clean insoles, or replace them if they become worn or lose their cushioning.
