Full details
The HOKA Clifton 11 Trainers are designed for adult runners and fitness enthusiasts seeking a reliable, plush ride for their daily mileage. As the latest iteration in a long-standing series, these trainers provide exceptional comfort through compression-molded foam, though the elevated stack height may feel too bulky for runners who prefer a minimalist, ground-connected experience.

FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for wide feet?
This specific model offers varying widths; ensure you check for 'EE' markers in the product specifications if you require a wider fit.
Can I use these for gym workouts?
Yes, they are excellent for treadmill runs and general gym activities, though they are optimized for forward linear motion rather than heavy lateral lifting.
How often should I replace the Clifton 11?
Generally, running shoes should be replaced every 300-500 miles depending on your weight, running surface, and individual gait.
Are the laces included?
Yes, the shoes come with standard laces designed to work with the double-lace lock system.
Is the upper waterproof?
The upper is made of mesh for maximum breathability and is not waterproof; it will absorb water if run in heavy rain.
Troubleshooting
Tongue shifting during runs
Ensure you are threading the laces through the dedicated double-lace lock loops on the tongue.
Outer sole wear appearing prematurely
Monitor your foot strike pattern and avoid using these shoes for abrasive surfaces like rocky trails or grit-heavy pavements.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Clifton 11 trainers, follow these maintenance practices:
- Break-in Period: Wear the shoes for short walking sessions before attempting long-distance runs to allow the foam and mesh to adapt to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Use a soft brush or damp cloth to remove surface dirt. Avoid submerging the shoes in water or using harsh detergents, as this can degrade the foam integrity.
- Drying: Air dry your shoes naturally in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Do not place them in a clothes dryer or near direct heat sources like radiators, as high heat can warp the midsole material.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place to prevent mildew and material breakdown.
