FAQs

Is the B.Int Gea Fleece machine washable?

Yes, it is machine washable on a cool, gentle cycle. Ensure it is turned inside out.

Does this fleece run true to size?

The item follows standard adult sizing. If you prefer a looser fit for layering heavy sweaters underneath, you may wish to size up.

Is this suitable for winter hiking?

It serves as a great mid-layer, but it does not provide wind protection. Pair it with a technical shell for active outdoor use.

Can I tumble dry this item?

Air drying is highly recommended to preserve the softness of the fleece; avoid high heat tumble drying.

What material is the B.Int Gea made from?

The garment is made from high-quality fleece, chosen for its warmth and comfort.

Troubleshooting

Pilling or bobbling on the surface

Gently use a fabric shaver or a sweater comb to remove surface pills without damaging the fleece fibers.

Fleece feels stiff after washing

Shake the garment out thoroughly once dry and ensure you are not using excessive detergent, which can leave a residue.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Soft and comfortable fleece material
Stylish design suitable for various casual settings
Excellent heat retention for cooler days
Lightweight and breathable for easy layering

Cons

Not windproof or waterproof
Limited to casual style aesthetics
Requires careful washing to maintain fleece texture

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your fleece maintains its integrity and soft feel over time, follow these care instructions: Always wash the garment inside out in cool water using a gentle cycle. Use a mild detergent and avoid fabric softeners, as they can degrade the fleece fibers. It is recommended to air dry the piece flat to prevent stretching or pilling. Avoid bleaching or dry cleaning. When storing, fold the item rather than hanging it for long periods to maintain the shape of the shoulders and fabric elasticity.
