It is crafted from a high-quality, soft-touch fleece material designed for warmth and comfort.
We recommend a cool, gentle machine wash with similar colors, inside out, and air drying to maintain the fabric texture.
The Barbour International line is generally designed to follow standard sizing, but it is recommended to check the specific size guide if you plan to wear it over bulky base layers.
While the fleece provides warmth, it is not waterproof. It is best used as a mid-layer underneath a waterproof jacket in wet conditions.
The fleece provides a comfortable barrier against light breezes, but for heavy winds, it is best paired with a windproof outer shell.
Gently use a fabric shaver to remove pilling and avoid washing with rougher fabrics like denim or items with zippers.
Always reshape the garment while damp and avoid hanging on thin wire hangers; lay flat to dry to prevent stretching.
As a wearable garment, there is no technical setup required. For optimal care, it is recommended to machine wash the fleece inside out on a cool, gentle cycle to preserve the softness of the material. Avoid using harsh chemical bleaches or high-heat tumble drying, as this can degrade the fleece fibers. Hang drying is preferred to maintain the shape of the garment. For compatibility, the fleece fits comfortably under most standard-sized Barbour jackets, though you may prefer your true size for a snug fit or one size up if you prefer more room for thicker base layers.
